Hotel Tre Re - Como

a Great location, spacious family room, friendly and helpful staff, close to ferry

a Noisy walls, limited breakfast options, lacking mini-fridge, stiff beds

The only positive thing about this hotel is the location, directly in the city center of como and parking available in front of the hotel, in their court yard

There was a funny smell. Furniture and decoration is old and dusty. Interior of the rooms looks a bit like an elderly home or a hospital. Definately no 3-star hotel. Too expensive for what it is.

the room was tidy, modern, the bed was comfy. the staff were all respectful and the breakfast was satisfactory with a refill.

Superb location, just a quick walk to the ferry and town center. The air conditioning in the room was a lifesaver after a long day out.

It was not a bargain, but reasonable given the circumstances.

Opt for the car parking service. It simplifies navigating Como's ZTL areas and saves time finding on-street parking.

Hotel location is excellent! Room was quite small but it didn't disturb us - fit for us. Room was also quiet - not noise from other rooms or outside. Breakfast was "traditional" Mediterrinean style. We did't eat lunch or dinner at the hotel. All in all we liked Como very much and we will definitely go back there in the future! Maybe we are staying at Hotel Tre Re again... ;-)

the staff was helpful, the position of the hotel was close to a railway station and to the shops, close to the centre, the restaurant was good and open till late.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of everything. The staff were super friendly and always smiling. Our room was huge and clean, a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was tasty and a great way to start the day. I'll definitely be back!

I was in Como for a weekend, but only Saturday night. Check out was very early but I wanted to have a full day to explore on Sunday. The hotel allowed me to leave my bag secured in the reception area literally for 12 hours until I was done and ready to catch a train back to Milan late Sunday night. I really appreciated that! Also, the hotel was in a wonderful location and very clean.

Just a little pricey but in comparison to other places I saw when I was booking last minute (during the summer, on a weekend) it wasnt that bad.

Hotel Tre Re is your classic Italtian 3 star hotel of that certain style that seems to be disappearing - more's the pity. Simple, clean, family run, unprentitious good food. In my book you'd be hard to find better but if you are looking for 'boutique' then this is not their style. The location and parking is ideal once your find your way there. Despite being in the centre of town there was no problem with noise.

The front desk person was wonderful in helping us find the place. Becuase of barricades that had been put up we had trouble getting to it. They suggested places to eat and things to do for the partial day we were there. The place was very clean. Breakfast was good, not a huge selection but good. Willing to park our car in the garage for us since things were a bit crowded for our comfort.

Hard pillows. Prefer something with a bit more thickness and softness for being a side sleeper, especially on firm mattresses.
